Meizu Abandons Traditional Smartphones

The company’s official statement revealed that Meizu will cease development on traditional smartphones, opting instead to focus exclusively on AI-driven projects.

Despite this monumental shift, Meizu reassures its customers that existing services and products will remain unaffected during the transition period. This includes popular offerings such as Flyme OS, Flyme Auto, Flyme AR, MYVU, PANDAER, and Boundless Intelligence. Additionally, Meizu pledges to continue providing support for its traditional smartphones, ensuring users can rely on their devices for years to come.
