Samsung Exynos 2400 Detailed

Samsung has officially launched its much-anticipated Galaxy S24 series, with the Exynos 2400 processor taking center stage in Europe and select markets. Although details have been shrouded in mystery since its October announcement, the processor’s specifications have finally been revealed.

At the heart of the Exynos 2400 is a robust 10-core architecture. This includes a high-performance Cortex-X4 core clocked at an impressive 3.2GHz, complemented by two 2.9GHz Cortex-A720 cores, three 2.6GHz Cortex-A720 cores, and four energy-efficient 1.95GHz Cortex-A520 cores.

On the graphics front, the Exynos 2400 introduces the Xclipse 940, based on AMD’s RDNA3 architecture. This promises significant enhancements in mobile ray tracing, rendering, and reflections, delivering a more immersive and realistic visual experience.

Crafted using a cutting-edge 4nm LPP+ process by Samsung Semiconductor, the Exynos 2400’s cores are built on the ARMv9 architecture. The processor also features a new ISP image processor, ensuring advanced image processing capabilities. It supports LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage for efficient multitasking and faster data access.

Samsung proudly boasts a 1.7 times increase in CPU performance and a staggering 14.7 times boost in AI processing power compared to its predecessor, the Exynos 2200, from two years ago.
