Putting all speculations to rest, the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) today announced the date on which it will announce announce the results of ICSE and ISC 2024 examinations.

As per CISCE, the council will announce the results on May 6.

In a press release, CISCE said the results will be declared at 11 am.

“Candidates and other stakeholders can access the results by visiting CISCE’s website: https://cisce.org or http://results.cisce.org,” the press statement added.

The ICSE exams took place from February 21 to March 28, 2024, and the ISC exams occurred between February 12 and April 3, 2024. It is important to mention that the Class 12 Chemistry exam was moved from its initial date of February 26 to March 21.

• Go to the official website of CISCE at cisce.org.
• Now, click on the “Results’, and click on ICSE Board Exam Results 2024 or ISC Board Exams Results 2024. Next, choose the course code as ICSE/ISC and provide your login details such as identification number, date of birth, and so on.
• Take a print out of the results screen.
• There is no compartment exam.

Compartment exams have been eliminated from this year onwards as a significant alteration to the exam process. Students who wish to enhance their grades can now choose to have their answer sheets re-evaluated and rechecked. Moreover, they have the opportunity to retake up to two subjects for betterment. The outcomes of the re-evaluation process will be accessible in a span of three weeks.

Passing criteria
Students need to achieve a minimum of 33% in both their total marks and each individual subject to pass the ICSE Class 10 exams. To pass the ISC Class 12 exams, students must obtain at least 40% in both the overall marks and each individual subject.

The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) exams maintain their tradition of achieving exceptional pass rates. In the year 2023, an impressive 98.94% of students successfully passed the exam.

The pass rate for the exams conducted by the Indian School Certificate (ISC) in 2023 was impressive, although not as high as the ICSE exams. In 2023, the pass rate for the exams dropped slightly to 96.93% from the previous year’s 99.38%.
