Honor Magic 6 Series Official Now

Honor officially released the Honor Magic 6 series tonight, featuring two models: Magic 6 and Magic 6 Pro. Additionally, they introduced the Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design Edition during the conference.

Honor Magic 6 Series Colors

Among them, the Honor Magic 6 series, the camera module inherits the family style of the “eye of the muse,” incorporating pillow-shaped elements for a square-round housing. The back shell showcases new Chinese cultural elements and a design inspired by magnificent mountains and rivers.

The color scheme includes four models: White, Green, Wheat Wave Green, and Liuyun Purple, along with Velvet Black. The Magic 6 is 8.1mm thick, with the glass version weighing 206g and the vegetal leather version weighing 199g. The Magic 6 Pro is 8.9mm thick, with the glass version weighing 229g and the vegetal leather version weighing 225g.

On the front, the Honor Magic 6 and Magic 6 Pro differ in design. The Magic 6 has a centered single-hole screen, while the Magic 6 Pro features a pill-shaped cut-out, incorporating a 3D face recognition component.

Display specifications for both the Honor Magic 6 and Magic 6 Pro are nearly identical. The Magic 6 boasts a 6.78-inch fully symmetrical isometric micro-curved screen with a 2800×1264 resolution. On the other hand, the Magic 6 Pro features a 6.8-inch hovering streamline quad-curved screen with a 2800×1280 resolution.

Both screens have 453 ppi, a 120Hz refresh rate, full Dolby Vision support, a global peak brightness of 1600nit, and a local peak brightness of 5000nit (minimum 2 nits). They also feature giant rhino glass, 10 times drop resistance, and the industry’s highest 4320Hz ultra-high-frequency PWM dimming. Other features include natural light eye protection, sleeping display, hardware-level low blue light, natural color display, and TÜV Rheinland global eye protection 3.0 certification.

The Honor Magic 6 series is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen3, featuring the exclusive GPU Turbo X technology for enhanced gaming performance. The front camera is 50MP, and the rear setup includes a 50MP OmniVision OVH9000 main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32MP subliminal telephoto lens for the Magic 6. The Magic 6 Pro adds a TOF deep sensing camera to the front and a 180MP periscope telephoto lens to the rear, supporting OIS and featuring a variable aperture for the main camera ranging from f/1.4-f/2.0.

Both models utilize the second generation of the Qinghai Lake battery, with Magic 6 housing a 5450mAh battery supporting 66W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The Magic 6 Pro boasts a 5600mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging and 66W wireless charging. The series also includes a self-developed RF enhancement chip, C1+, improving transmitting and receiving gain.

Honor Magic 6 Pro supports Honor’s Hongyan Communication, enabling direct mobile phone connection to satellite services for real-time voice and two-way SMS. The series runs on MagicOS 8.0, featuring intention recognition for human-computer interaction.

Pricing for the Honor Magic 6 series varies: The Magic 6 has three versions, with the 12+256GB priced at 4,399 yuan, 16+256GB at 4,699 yuan, and 16+512GB at 4,999 yuan. The Magic 6 Pro also offers three versions, with the 12+256GB priced at 5,699 yuan, 16+512GB at 6,199 yuan, and 16GB+1TB at 6,699 yuan. Pre-sale for the Honor Magic 6 series starts at 21:08 tonight, with the official launch scheduled for 10:08 on January 18.
